This time, it is not about her Deepavali release Nava Vasantham in Tollywood, neither is it about her soon to be released Thotta.It’s all about her lineage, for this Palakad Iyer girl seems to have acting in her family, and her grandmother is an acclaimed Carnatic singer. And no, it doesn't stop there.
Surprise of surprises! Her second cousin seems to be taking Bollywood by storm, with already two hits in a row. It’s none other than Vidya Balan of Parineeta fame.
Sure something has to be in their genes to deliver such performances. Priyamani had recently created ripples in the Telugu film industry for her performance in the junior NTR-starrer Yamadonga, where she was a scene stealer in what was otherwise a multiple star cast.
